IF the game does come out on PC, what do you think will be the system requirements for it?

Do you think they will be very high so that only the newest machines can play it? or will they be playable on older machines too?

I don't think it would be something big, they're not utilizing full console potentionls so it won't be 6GB's of RAM and fully used Video Card. Maybe it's From 2-4GB of RAM, and a simple Video Card, maybe from Nvidias 500 series.

nah ud probably be able to pull through with less then the 500 series, The cards in the next gen consoles are still pretty old.

Do keep in mind if u want more then the console quality u need to get better stuff tho ;)

Hopefully the requirements will be higher than the next gen console specs! Game looks great so far and that's not considering the fact that they're on some older tech. The smoke / particle effects look very nice though.

I hope not assifuah, because I don't want the max. the came can look like to take twice as much performance :P
I't should be like battlefield, Low Quality on the PC = Max Console quality.

True, but it would be nice to see higher end machines having the option of really awesome visuals. I'm sure the particle effects, lighting and texture quality as well a post processing could be the ones that would be the difference though. Of course, it would be nice to be able to run with less performance and still have it look good. Either way it looks impressive already!

I think the specs will the same, or a little better than the ones for watch dogs, it does seem like they are using the same engine, being the later one using a earlier build.

Consider the specs for the Xbox One and PS4. They would probably be mid-line specs for a PC version.

PS4 has an AMD Jaguar processor (Based off a 8 core 1.2 GHz laptop processor so might be running at 2 GHz tops), 8 gigs GDDR5 RAM split between the CPU and GPU, and the graphics card I've heard different things tossed around, it's definitely a Radeon HD series card but I've heard from 7790 to 7850.

So for processor I wouldn't worry too much, I think most 6 core desktop processors could outperform the Jaguar. For Memory it's a little more difficult because the GDDR5 can handle more than DDR3, but considering Desktop graphics cards come with up to 3 gigs of GDDR5 and then you've got 8-16 gigs of DDR3 on the side it should balance out just fine. As for the video card anything equivalent to a Radeon HD 7850 or higher should work just fine.

All I need to upgrade at the moment is my video card and I could do that for less than $200 to get an equivalent card, but I'm planning on dropping $500 or more on a much more powerful card.

Rori, midline pc ? maybe 10 years ago :P The hardware in the next gen consoles is ancient. then again if you mean non gamer pc's then yea.
Its something a random non gamer would buy as a cheap pc package right now.

the ps4 graphics cards are not that good, cause what you're saying now is that they're about equal to a GTX 660 which I highly doubt.
From what I've heard they're going to be somewhere around the powerlevel of a gtx 9800 and if you compare the unreal engine on ps vs ps4  you'll notice that the ps4 has about as much graphic juice in it as that video card you got rusting away in some box on your attic.

Based on what we have been presented from the demo debut, I would see similar requirements from Watch Dogs or Splinter Cell Blacklist to here, as it looks very similar in terms of visual effects.

So, somewhere along the lines of this perhaps:(Total speculation)

System requirements (minimum)
CPU: Intel Core i3 or i5 dual core processor or better
RAM: 3gb DDR3
Graphics: 512 MB RAM, Nvidia 8000/9000 series , ATI radeon 4xxx series
Operating system: Windows Vista

System requirements (recommended )
CPU: Quad core Intel Core i5 or i7 processor, or AMD FX 8000 series chip
RAM: 8gb DDR3
Graphics: 2GB Video RAM, Nvidia GTX 560ti or better / ATI Radeon 6870 or better
Operating system: Windows 7 64 bit / Windows 8 64 bit

System requirements (MAXED OUT)
CPU: Intel core i7 2600k/3770k/3930k/4770, or AMD FX 8000 series chip
RAM: 8gb / 16gb DDR3
Graphics: Nvidia GTX 760, or ATI Radeon HD 7950

I go with mirco's guess.

My PC is with AMD FX 6350, powering a Radeon Sapphire HD 7770 and all on 8GB RAM.

Should be able to get on standard quality... but still unsure how good the SnowDrop engine will be

--> will it get all out of our hardware or just get some juce out and needs higher specs?

I can imagine the SDe with all that real-time destruction and great light effects being one of the top hardware burden here.

Case: Aerocool XPredator green

Keyboard: Razer Deathstalker Ultimate

Headset: Razer Megalodon

Mouse: Razer Mamba

Yea I think It will be pretty GPU intensive but Im sure they will optimize the game for lower performance cards.

This has always been the beauty of PC gaming over the Consoles. It is far more configurable to your needs.

Seeing as they stated the game is *not* being ported across and is instead being developed on it we should (hopefully) see some configurable video options so you can tailor the graphics to your optimization!

Of course the other major advantage being that on PC games can look so, so much more beautiful :)

My current setup is:

MoBo: MSI 990FXA-GD65

CPU: AMD FX-9370 @ 4.7 Ghz
GPU: MSI GeForce GTX 670

RAM: 16Gb Corsair Vengeance Pro @ 2133Mhz

Storage: A blend of SSD and other Hard Drives

Case: Cooler Master Storm Enforcer

Monitors: Single Samsung 24" LED
Mouse: Roccat Kone+

Keyboard: Roccat Isku

Headset: Roccat Kave
